So far I have not been impressed with any of the prawn meals I have cooked. I just don’t see why you wouldn’t have chicken instead. I thought t if any prawn dinner would change my mind then this one would. Spaghetti, sun dried tomatoes, chilli. It all sounds great.
Again I am disappointed. The dinner was nice, a little blander than expected considering the ingredients but still good flavours. Unfortunately the prawns themselves had no flavour. They were basically lumps of texture in the spaghetti. I would have been happy to have left them out or used chicken instead.
Despite the disappointment of the prawns the rest of the dish is definitley worth a try. To do so cook your finely chopped onion, garlic and sun dried tomatoes in a pan with some oil. Also add in as much chilli as you see fit. Season and cook for five minutes. Add the chopped tomatoes and let the pan simmer for ten or so minutes until its nice and thick. Meanwhile cook your spaghetti in some boiling water with some salt. When your sauce has thickened add the tiger prawns (if you want) and cook until pink. Once they and the spaghetti are cooked combine them, sprinkle in some parsley and mix together. I added some more parsley once served and a few extra thin slices of chilli.
